high carbon steel, the carbon content is between 0.6% and 2%. It is widely used in metal  parts which have to be strengthed, increase hardness and the durability, such as tools, carbon amour,springs, knives etc. After processed, the metals parts has to be heat-treated. the higher the carbon content is, the higher durability, strengtheness, hardness after heat-treatment.
